EuGLC Conference 2026

The EuGLC conference will be the group’s annual event, led by seven existing Lean Construction Institutes across Europe (France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark). It brings together practitioners, consultants, academics, builders and students from the construction industry. Europe is rich in its diversity, and EuGLC offers the construction sector the opportunity to share best practice, culture and expertise, whilst defining its own Lean approach, tailored to current developments in the sector.

The programm will include:

• Lean green for the construction sector
• Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
• BIM and Lean

• More advanced planning approaches (Takt planning)
• Lean and digital transformation
• Lean and Construction 4.0

Workshops

The workshops, scheduled for the morning of 29 October, will be interactive sessions focusing on practices, tools, trends and simulations relating to waste-free construction. Each parallel session will comprise two or three workshops, and the organising committee will gather participants’ preferences to ensure personalised experiences. The workshops will be held in English.

Peer-to-Peer Networking

EuGLC is also about exchange. Time will be set aside for participants to exchange ideas, discuss, and present their work, experiences and solutions relating to Lean Construction. This session will take the form of an informal exhibition where participants can bring posters, business cards, tablets to show videos or demonstrations, or written documents to present their work.

Conference

Keynote speaches, practical case studies, and academic and industrial presentations. The focus will be on keynote presentations and industrial ‘best practice’ case studies from across Europe. Presentations may cover:

• Current trends and practices in Lean Construction
• Successful case studies from leading companies across Europe
• An overview of the future of Lean Construction in Europe
